A little about me.....

Hi, I'm Stacie - the heart behind this quiet little grooming studio.

What started as a love for dogs grew into something deeper - a commitment to doing things differently. I believe grooming should feel calm, personal and rooted in trust. So, I created my own unique space based on my knowledge and values. Dogs should feel safe, understood and cared for, without the chaos and stress that often comes with most grooming environments. For many dogs, this is the first place they've ever felt truly comfortable being groomed.

** Sometimes because I work so closely with your animals I may notice something wrong you might have missed (Rashes, discolored growths, dry skin, yeasty paws, damaged paw pads, it could be any number of things.) I will always notify you about any concern immediately. I am no longer a Tech and never a Vet, so if such an occasion were to ever occur my only advice would be to go see your primary Vet as soon as possible. I can't make any recommendations on Vets either, but it is absolutely my responsibility to inform you if God forbid something ever arose. I do however have and can use special shampoos, conditioners, sprays, ear cleaners ect. for ongoing skin or other irritations Take a look at our products page and specialty care sections if you are interested, and want to speak to your Vet about the companies we use and trust. All our products all high end, human grade, holistic  and organic when possible.

The Intuitive Care Philosophy.....

Untitled-1.jpg
At it's core the intuitive care philosophy is about listening, observing and responding to each individual dog's emotional cues with patience and an understanding of their particular way of communicating.

The studio itself is intentionally quiet and low-stress, inspired by nature, soft light and the kind of calm that helps both people and animals feel grounded. Every dog is treated with a welcoming tone, sensitivity and respect for their unique personality and needs. Whether they are aging, or just a puppy in training, easily overstimulated (You Doodle Parents Know lol), or simply more comfortable in a peaceful setting, I take my time to move at their pace. A few of my main principles that are always in affect are located in the section below. For me grooming is far more than just appearance, it's about creating an experience where dogs feel safe and understood. I hold little paws everyday with assurances that this not a place to fear, because when a dog feels comfortable and safe, that is when their true beauty shines!

The Values of Intuitive Grooming

Intuitive Pace

We move at a rhythm of the dog, not the clock. Some moments invite stillness, others ask for space or a reset - and we follow those cues as they come. By adjusting tempo, touch, and flow in real time, the experience stays calm, cooperative, and quietly, respectful of each dog's natural state

Intuitive Handling

Hands that guide rather than force, responding to subtle shifts in posture, breath, and trust. Pressure softens when needed, steadies when invited, and pauses when the dog asks for space. Movement stays fluid and aware, creating a quiet dialogue where cooperation replaces resistance.

Intuitive Communication

Listening comes first - tuning into the dogs emotional state through posture, breath, and subtle shifts in energy. Each response is shaped by what the dog is feeling, not just what they are doing. By acknowledging fear, curiosity, or calm as it arises, understanding builds naturally and trust follows without force, creating a sense of safety that carries through the entire experience.
