Happy Sunday!!! As a professional groomer with 25 years of experience, I’ve tried just about every product line our industry has to offer. When you’re bathing 3–8 dogs a day, day after day, year after year, you learn very quickly which products are truly gentle and which ones aren’t. Over the years, many medicated shampoos left my skin cracked, painfully dry, and sometimes covered in rashes all the way up to my elbows. Then I found Nexderma. Today, Nexderma is the exclusive product line I use in my salon, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about it. Not only is it incredibly effective, but it’s gentle on my own skin, smells amazing, and leaves coats soft, healthy, and beautiful while helping to maintain moisturized skin. What impressed me most is that it is made with human-grade ingredients and is safe for multiple species. I use it on dogs, my ferrets, and yes… I even use it on myself in the shower. For years I’ve believed that many human skin-care products undergo more rigorous testing and quality standards than products traditionally marketed for pets. When I discovered Nexderma, I felt like I had finally found a product that met the standards I had been looking for all along. Helping animals has always been my passion. Since I was a little girl, I’ve been drawn to the ones who needed the most care, the most patience, and the most healing. It brings me so much joy knowing that every pet who comes through my doors receives the benefit of products I truly trust. The odor control is incredible, the skin support is outstanding, and I’ve even seen hair regrowth on my own little ferret girl who had been struggling with a skin issue. When I recommend a product, it’s because I’ve personally used it, tested it, and believe in it. Nexderma has earned that trust. For all things medicated and non medicated…. • Sundays with Stacie A Little About Me Hello friends, After sharing my first Sunday post about sweet Gus, I thought it might be a good time to introduce myself and tell you a bit about ,well just me

Sundays with Stacie Happy Sunday!!! A Little About Me Hello friends, After sharing my first Sunday post about sweet Gus, I thought it might be a good time to introduce myself and tell you a little about the person behind Stacie’s Intuitive Grooming. My name is Stacie, and I’ve spent more than 25 years working with dogs. Along the way, I’ve also gained experience in veterinary medicine, which has given me a deeper understanding of the physical and emotional needs of the animals entrusted to my care. But if there’s one thing I’d like people to know about me, it’s that I believe every dog has a story. Some dogs come bounding through the door full of confidence and excitement. Others arrive nervous, unsure, elderly, hurting, or carrying the weight of difficult experiences. Those are often the dogs that find a special place in my heart. I’ve never been drawn only to the easiest dogs. Instead, I’ve found myself connecting most deeply with the shy, the anxious, the sick, the aging, and the misunderstood. Perhaps it’s because I’ve learned that behavior is communication. Beneath every growl, tremble, hesitation, or worried glance is a dog trying to tell us something. My job has never been simply to groom dogs. My goal has always been to help them feel safe, respected, and understood. The word “intuitive” in Stacie’s Intuitive Grooming wasn’t chosen by accident. It reflects the approach I’ve developed over decades of working with animals—paying attention not only to what a dog looks like, but also to what they’re feeling. Outside of grooming, I have a deep appreciation for nature, simple living, meaningful connections, and the lessons animals teach us every day. Dogs have a remarkable ability to remind us about patience, trust, forgiveness, resilience, and unconditional love. Through Sundays with Stacie, I hope to share stories from my grooming table, lessons learned from the animals I love, practical tips for pet parents, and occasional reflections on life itself. If you’ve chosen to spend a few moments reading my words each week, thank you. I’m honored to have you here. I look forward to sharing this journey with you. If you have a special dog story, I’d love for you to share it in the Watering Hole. Tell us about your dog’s personality, your experiences together, and the moments that have made them special in your life. Feel free to post your favorite photos too—I love seeing the unique spirit of each dog shine through. And if you’d like to follow along, join me each Sunday as we continue celebrating the remarkable dogs who touch our hearts and teach us so much. ❤️🐾 Until next Sunday, Stacie

Gus…. Every once in a while, a dog comes into my grooming room and reminds me why I do this. Yesterday was Gus. Gus is a big boy—a beautiful Bernedoodle with a gentle soul and a heart as large as his frame. This was only his second or third visit with me, and we’re still getting to know one another. Trust takes time. Especially for dogs who may have had experiences that taught them to be cautious. As I worked with Gus, I noticed he was especially sensitive about his feet and lower legs. The clipper around his ankles made him uneasy, and when it came time to work through the thick mats packed into his paw pads, I could tell this wasn’t his favorite part of the day. So we slowed down. Sometimes grooming isn’t about getting through the appointment. Sometimes it’s about meeting the dog where they are. The mats in his feet were tight and close to the skin, so I switched to my smaller clipper and worked carefully, little by little. There was no rushing. No forcing. Just patience, reassurance, and allowing him time to process each step. And that’s when something beautiful happens. A dog begins to realize that they have a voice. That someone is listening. That they are safe. Gus was still nervous. But he stayed with me. He kept trying. And every time he allowed me to continue, he was offering a little more trust than before. Those moments mean more to me than any finished haircut ever could. People often think grooming is about hair. For me, it’s about relationships. The haircut grows out. The trust remains. By the end of our time together, I felt calmer than when I started. Working with Gus was therapeutic in a way that’s hard to explain unless you’ve experienced it yourself. Sometimes healing doesn’t happen all at once. Sometimes it happens quietly. One paw. One breath. One moment of trust at a time. Thank you, Gus. I think we both learned something yesterday. 💜 With gratitude, and so much love 💕 Stacie Stacie’s Intuitive Grooming

Hello to everyone or anyone who is listening to…. Err reading in this case, thank you very much for visiting this new website, and reading a blog!? My name is Tim or Stacie’s husband, I haven’t put together a website in over 20 years…. and some stuff has changed. I went to college for digital media and used that degree, for about a year doing ads for tourist magazines in Orlando… that cured me of dreams of being an art director or magazine editor. Anyway, I hope you like it, I’m mostly just messing around and learning all over again how to do this. So if you have any tips, or whatever feel free to leave a comment, I see things I miss everyday, and I have thick skin. It’s obviously not quite done yet, but it’s getting there…. I didn’t realize there was a totally different process for cell phones, cell phones didn’t get the internet when I graduated… I’m not even sure cell phones were affordable yet…. And AOL was the internet. Thanks for your patience and If you haven’t seen your dog on there yet, I promise I’m getting there…. Have a great Sunday, Tim (Stacie’s husband)

  • A little tidbit about pricing, new website and my cute little bubble logo.....

My bubble logo Starting a new business comes with many challenges, and one of the biggest is making sure customers understand what you offer and how much it costs. If you’ve visited my website recently, you might have noticed that pricing details are not fully listed there yet. Instead, I invite you to fill out a simple form to receive a personalized quote. While the website is still a work in progress, I want to share some important information about pricing, the website itself, and a little story behind my cute bubble logo. Pricing made simple and clear Many customers ask about the cost of services before booking. To keep things straightforward, here’s a quick overview of the starting prices for my main services: Full grooms start at $85 Baths start at $45 FF&T (Feet, Face & Tail) start at $65 These prices serve as a baseline. The final quote depends on your pet’s size, coat condition, and any special requests. That’s why I encourage you to fill out the form on the website. This way, I can provide a tailored price that fits your pet’s needs. Offering quotes through a form also helps me keep pricing flexible and fair. It allows me to consider each pet’s unique requirements without confusing customers with a long list of prices on the site. This approach ensures transparency and builds trust. What you can expect from the website Building a website for the first time is exciting but also a learning experience. My site is not fully functional yet, but most pages are up and running. You can explore service descriptions, learn about the grooming process, and find contact information easily. One feature I’m proud of is how user-friendly the site feels. The navigation is simple, so visitors can find what they need without frustration. The clean layout and clear fonts make reading comfortable, even on mobile devices. This was a priority because I want every visitor to have a smooth experience, whether they’re booking a service or just browsing. Another aspect worth mentioning is the contact form. It’s designed to be quick and easy to fill out, so you can get a quote or ask questions without hassle. I’m constantly working to improve the site’s speed and fix minor bugs, but the core functionality is already solid. The story behind the cute little bubble logo If you’ve seen the logo on the website or social media, you might wonder about the bubbles. They are more than just a fun design element. The bubbles represent cleanliness, care, and the gentle touch I bring to every grooming session. Choosing a logo was a big step. I wanted something that felt friendly and approachable, reflecting the warm environment I create for pets. The bubbles also remind me of the joy pets show when they’re freshly groomed and pampered. It’s a small symbol with a big meaning. This logo is part of my brand identity and helps customers recognize the business easily. Even though the website is new, the logo gives it a professional and welcoming look. It’s a detail I’m proud of because it shows the personality behind the services. Why this matters to you Understanding pricing and the website’s current state helps you make informed decisions. You won’t be surprised by hidden fees or confusing navigation. Instead, you get clear starting prices and a simple way to ask for a quote. The website’s design and logo also show my commitment to quality and care. Even as I continue to improve the site, these elements create a positive first impression. They reflect the same attention to detail I bring to grooming your pet. If you’re considering booking a service, I encourage you to explore the website and fill out the quote form. It’s the best way to get accurate pricing and start a conversation about your pet’s needs. What’s next for the website and business I’m actively working on making the website fully functional soon. This includes adding more detailed pricing information, customer testimonials, and an online booking system. These updates will make it even easier for you to schedule appointments and learn about all the services offered. Meanwhile, I’m focused on providing excellent grooming experiences. Every pet is treated with kindness and professionalism, whether they need a full groom, bath, or FF&T service. The website and logo are just the beginning of building a trusted brand. Final thoughts Starting a business and launching a website takes courage and effort. While the site isn’t perfect yet, it already offers useful information and a smooth user experience. The pricing approach keeps things fair and clear, and the bubble logo adds a personal touch that sets the tone for the business.
